Welcome to the Legends at Chateau Elan

The Legends, a private members-only golf club, is the masterpiece of celebrated golf greats Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead, and Kathy Whitworth. Each selected six of their favorite holes from around the world, then crafted each hole onto The Legends layout.

Everyone loves to compete, especially in golf! The Legends offers a full golf tournament schedule year-round for Members to compete! Enjoy the benefits of a private country club when playing in our multi-day tournaments including multiple rounds of golf, delicious meals, tee gifts, and trophies for players. Some Things to Know

Please check in with the Golf Shop before beginning play.
The pace of play for groups at the Legends is 4 hours or less. Groups who are unable to maintain this pace will be asked to allow faster players to play through.

Golfers should click the sand off their shoes when exiting a bunker and before going on the green.
  • Please repair all ball marks and fill divots
  • Please rake all bunkers
  • Please treat all fellow golfers, caddies, and staff with the Golden Rule
Golf attire is permissible in all areas of the Clubhouse. Shorts are permitted but styling must be in line with what is commonly referred to as “golf attire”. Please, no cargo shorts or denim. Hats are not allowed inside the clubhouse after 5pm.

The hat bills must be facing forward when worn outside. Collared Shirts must remain tucked in at all times. Upon completion of play, members and guests are permitted to change from golf attire into country club casual attire.
Members and guests may receive and send text messages and emails and may surf the web on cell phones, smart phones, or other handheld devices provided that no voice communication takes place and that the device’s speaker and/or ringing mechanism is silenced. Members are reminded that they should play without delay and the use of such devices should be as limited as possible.
